SO, a change..... The clock is now at 8:08 now and will not move. It still lights up when you get close to the car in the dark, so it's connected.

I guess shopping for a clock is in order. Need to find the part number to the updated one, I might try to call Lexus to see if there is anything they can do but, I don't foresee them doing anything for a 2014 model...

EDIT: Ebay, used ones, tested and 30 day warranty, under $150, A LOT cheaper than the radio..

That seems a reasonable way to get a replacement. I haven't seen many threads about clock failure. The few failures are mostly warranty from around 2013-2014.

Well, it's one way to confirm 100% that it's the clock and not the radio. The cost of the radio is kind of scary even used. Not sure I would even go down that road if it was the radio...

I dropped a few in my watch lists, I'll wait till they send an offer my way (the part scrapers always send an offer when watching) then offers 20-25% less, 95% of the time they will accept it...

Still dealing with weariness here. So, I pulled the battery for the night. Checked battery before connecting back to the car, it was at 12.75v. So, this should be a battery in good health and fully changed.

I connected it to the car and started it, checked the voltage at the battery again. This started at 14.04v and dropped to a 14.0-14.1v. Some listings show it should be between 14.23 and 14.5v, this is a good chunk lower.

Is this normal on the LS460, it should it be higher? Am I showing signs of other issues?

When car is running, you're reading charging volts. When the battery is low on charge, the charging voltage will be at it's highest. As the battery becomes closer to a full charge, the charging voltage drops. I believe that what you're experiencing is normal. I'm sure you knew this but hopefully hearing it from another will help your processing.

Under that logic, it should be working as normal, seeing the battery's voltage was 12.75v while not connected to the car, that would make complete sense. I am still having strangeness here..

Ok, The last thing for me to try, is to do the dreaded. I can't do this weekend and next weekend is kind of tight but, I will try. My Android Auto kit, it runs fine, I see no issues but, these little "lack of power" issues keep popping up. I will have to remove it (completely unwire it) and do some testing.

Now a little history. I got the AA kit on my last 2014 and that car got totaled, when I got my stuff out of my car, I pulled the BOX only for this AA kit, I contacted the company who made the kit and ordered a replacement harness for it (more than 1/2 of what it costed but anyway), The cable I got was a little different than the last one but I got it connected and it works exactly like the last car.

Maybe this "different" cable is causing an issue. I guess I'll have to do this next....

Worth a try as I've seen enough threads where add ons caused crazy electrical glitches and RF interference. Not sure if this clock receives time updates via wire or over the air. Hoping the best for you.

Thanks. I installed "the kit" exactly where everyone else seems to install it. If it was a RF problem related to that, I would think I lot more people would have this issue. The thread about these kits was pretty large. The only though is that "different" cable could be an issue.

Truth be told, if it is the issue, I will be shopping for a new kit for it. Once you have Android Auto, or Apple car play, it's really hard to go back to a 2014 Infotainment system.....even on the Lexus...

More strangness. The Clock.... So the last few days, the hands are moving, I can go into the System menu to adjust the clock, that does nothing. Of course, it's wrong, Tonight, I washed the car, when I got back, it's back to 8:07, exactly where it was when it stopped moving... another WTF issue for sure...
