Default Lower Control arm bolt removal

Why would they do this? when it could be put in the other way with the nut on here. How do you get this out with the steering thing in the way?

You have, at least, two ways. First, remove the inner tie rod and then remove the bolt. Second, cut the head of the bold and replace it.

It's been a while since I replaced my control arms. I remember that I had to turn the steering wheel fully to one side to remove this bolt. By turning the steering wheel fully to one side, there was just enough room to remove this bolt.

I just replaced this lower forward control arm, with the LS460 on jack stands and wheels off ground, there is enough clearance for the bolt to come out.

It is correct. I've seen this bolt coming out with the steering wheel turned all the way.
