Well, everything is functional in my car so if you see something different that could be the issue. How does it compare?

Mine was ignition on engine off with drivers door open.

You have a trouble code, go back one page a see what it is.

yes I tried remote engine start test, which I reset because my vehicle doesn’t have the option..I’m going to the store and trying another new battery..btw I think the remote just fell “asleep” if that’s a thing from doing research and seeing other brands face this issue..I’ve had this issue with my Toyota key which battery died but when replaced the car wouldn’t start until I did a “reprogram” procedure

So you're saying you knew about this code and never thought to mention it? What was the code?

This code only came up when I tried to do a test from the utilities tab- it was a failed remote start test . I tried this prior to taking photo of active data. Honestly just tried everything in techstream to find the issue

Changed battery with new energizer one- still the same issue.

The Smart Access System can be turned off through the Customizable Features. You should check to see if it is turned off. It is accessible through the controls on the dash. You want it ON.

entry by smart key in dash settings is turned on, hope that’s the same thing

Do you have an Owner’s Manual? One comes with every new car.
