That's strange it takes them that long to to move, in my cars I can go from dropped to 8 inch off the ground in 20 seconds max and it adjusts as soon as you sit down inside.
I saw that once, a guy walked up to his 8 series and it came up pretty fast. maybe a proximity thing?
Pretty cool.

It is, when they see the key you can set it to do certain actions and one of them is to pop up/down depending on if it's a car/suv. That is very odd your car didn't complain more that other than that circuit code, I guess Lexus really doesn't treat the ais sus as an integral part of the car? Arnott is normally perfectly fine except for Lexus since they are a German first brand
POSSIBLE Fix: Arnott Technical help indicated the air shock assembly does NOT USE the "Sport / Comfort" feature and when I selected the Sport / Comfort selector, a RESISTOR at the top end of the shock possibly shorted and has triggered the error. A FIX is on the way and does not require shock removal to replace the resistor.
TWO Sealing Caps arrived today. I am not quite sure what the removal process is for the CAP. It does not move, twist or ?? for removing. Any suggestions would be appreciated; I cannot contact the Arnott support due to the weather in the Florida area.
I believe there's supposed to be an o-ring seal. Is a new one included for each cap? Where's the resistor you said was part of the diagnosis?
NO o rings with the shipment. I assume the resistor is located internally. I will be contacting after the hurricane calms down. Thanks for your postings...

Were your actuators installed on the Arnott struts ?
Were your actuators installed on the Arnott struts ?
Yes, on the struts. My original Arnott tech help is on vacation for a week and Marvin plus an engineer are NOT aware of a "resistor" on the Sealing Cap. There is a plug that the original Lexus Air System connects into on the cap (slightly visible on the photo). I would be happy if I could CLEAR the codes.
I've never had to swap my struts on my car but when people are switching to coil overs they say the avs actuators are left connected to the harness and put somewhere out of the way to avoid setting codes.
If Arnott doesn't avs on your model of struts I doubt they would have a slot on that centre post for the actuator rod to fit into so it would just move freely and shouldn't matter. But back to the code/codes....you were getting a VGRS code before has that changed? With the actuators disconnected you should be getting one or two other codes as well like C1731, try just reconnecting the harness to the actuators and checking again...I'm not sure if that's a prove out circuit so without a scan tool of some type that may not shut your warning lights off.
I still doubt the vgrs thing is because of the struts but these cars sometimes will set a few codes for non related systems just to make it seem serious or so it seems. You need to have someone look at your car because something could have got f'd up when changing those struts if like you said the steering wheel is off centre.
The centre post on your picture is normally connected to the top of the actual strut inside the air spring assy so I don't think that's removable.
FWIW, my recall of threads over the years have been about sticking with OEM struts. If anyone has used Arnott, I don't recall any threads about their experiences. Working with Arnott to solve issue is a best bet. The steering issue, as GERF suggests, is best looked at by a pro.
