Personally, while it's possible OEM stop faster, I found Centric rotors and Akebono pads to stop quickly, smoothly with much less dust than OEM. rotors on amazon and pads at rock auto. They were recommended here at the forum. If a shop inspection reveals warping or excessive wear, address it. Otherwise you may have the issue that boykie stated. It's a known issue with LS460, especially with age and miles. Shop inspection to confirm.

Yes I agree with that but don't waste money on the OE brakes.

I'm not really sure what tmc uses as OEM supplier in US region, but in our parts it's Advics' rotors, and compared to other local market offerings (mostly chinese foil-steel) those are a sure fire way to overhaul one's brakes without a second thought.

I imagine different pads are likely to make a bigger difference than the rotors. OEM rotors and Akebono pads sounds like an improvement.

I'm not sure but I do know how OE warps very easily vs aftermarket that doesn't.
