looks like a mini fuse on that light wiring.

The fuse it a little too big. I bought a different adapter with the righr size

The wires and adapter that came with it in the picture is not the righr size. I bought the right size for it. Haven't hook it up yet

The one in your picture looks exactly like the one I have. I had no issue using the fuse that came with it, and did not have to buy another.

I don't know how you made it fit. Look at the red fuse on the wire. Look at the fuse on the new adapter. The prongs is different and the fuse.

I recall a thread for a similar light where the "fuse" wasn't even a fuse, just looked like one so it would fit into a fuse block. The real fuse was in the wire. That said, there are several fuses that look similar but are actually different sizes/dimensions. They look like they fit , but don't. There isn't one industry standard anymore. You may need to buy a few different sizes to cover them all. Might be easier this way.
