Default Shocks

I have a 2013 LS460L. The first question is what is the best after market rear shocks? These are not air shocks. The second question is why are the rear shocks are different lengths?

Thanks for all your help.

If you want to have an exact same ride as factory, OEM shocks. Any others will change things slightly. You have to decide on your definition of "best". I say there isn't a best IMHO. I'd stick with brand name and buy from high volume sellers to avoid counterfeit.

Is there any company that you would suggest or brand of shocks to look for?

Thanks

I suggest you do a search here for aftermarket shocks. There's bound to be interesting discussions as well as recommendations. Sometimes using google with quotation marks yields better results. " aftermarket shocks LS460 clublexus". Look forward to hearing what you learn.

Why are you recommending air shocks when the poster clearly states he has regular shocks?

They work perfectly fine, they never break but do lack the adjustment/modes for the LS since the LS is so low production count with air. They are a first choice for other brands of car
