Default Clock bit the dust

Never had to replace a clock before and the price they want is redonkulous, I'm going to try to set it at 2:10 like the old timex commercials and unplug it.

You might try calling around to some junk yards.

I see that clock new at Bell Lexus in AZ for $256.77. Still too expensive for me to consider replacing it but thought I would share.

Thanks, I've been checking around for parts cars to look at for various things but not much is listed online at wreckers. This is one of them with yards in Canada and USA.

I don't see many where I live even though it's a fairly large city.

I would want to get it squared away quickly too. Not sure if carparts.com works for Canada. I have faith in you and the used part market that you'll find the right price after the holidays. Maybe a photo of your favorite "whatever" over the empty space will lighten the mood.

Yeah... same happened on my 2014... Sent ~$300 to the Amayama gods... Expensive parts but it does look good when it's working. I will say I tried my best to DIY fix it. Thinking I could 3D print some new gears for the assembly (As I think they wear and start slipping)... It's not teasy. Maybe a watchmaker/tinker would be able to do it but I couldn't.

Mine is doing that too, kinda shuddering. I'll probably get a new one after New Years when the mail becomes somewhat reliable again.

Dang, c*******er clock! Checked my local - 100 to 150 euro used. But I bet you'll find one with car-part and negotiate shipping. Keep the old Yorker green and with doors intact!

Do you have car-part.com up there? I can look down here for one for you, I'll let you know if I find one that is perfect

Thanks for the offer but I will just get a new one in the new year, I haven't had to spend any money on it yet so this will ease me into the routine haha.
