2015 LS 460 Base -17K miles, one owner clean history and title. What is the max you would pay. Any known major issues with this year. Help with suggestions please.
I agree with the previous post, it depends on what model it is and what options packages it has. That said, unless it is a rare color and exceptionally well equipped, the price is quite high. I have been looking and recently purchased a low mile 2016 LS460 AWD.
Here's what I have seen in last 3 to 4 months. A beautiful 2015 SWB RWD Obsidian with Black leather with 6k miles went for around $36,000 at Scanlan Lexus in Fort Meyers. I know of a well equipped 2017 LS460L RWD being offered at around $37,000. A 2016 or 2017 LS460L RWD White over Parchment with around 25k miles went for around $34,000 from an Audi dealer in Orlando. A 2015 LS460 SWB RWD with around 30,000 miles sold for around $35,000 from Park Place Lexus in Plano. A 2016 LS460 SWB AWD with 10k was sold from an Infiniti dealer recently for the mid $30's. Please be aware while these were posted prices, desireable low mileage cars from Lexus or other luxury car dealers sell quickly and for or close to the asking price.
Factor in that the most desirable years are 2016 and 2017. Without knowing how its equipped, the color and the service history it's hard to say. It's also worth what someone is willing to pay. Considering the low mileage and looking at everything very favorably from a private owner, maybe $30,000 to the low $30's.
That price seems high to me as well. I recently purchased a 2017 LWB with a lot of options (not the ultra luxury package, though) and 60k miles for $32k. The car you mention obviously has much lower mileage but it is also 2 years older. For me, I wouldn’t find the lower mileage to be worth a $12k upcharge, especially in a SWB that is a couple of years older.
As for what it is actually worth, as others have said, that depends on the options. But my gut reaction is even fully loaded I wouldn’t go above about $38k unless I loved everything about the car and just had to have it, In that case, I’d maybe go to $40k.
I just bought a 2015 LS460 Premium swb, awd, never winter driven, white exterior over black interior with every available option, 35,000 miles, $35,000 Canadian, which is about 22,000 U.S.
Really low miles but that is a lot of money for that car. I bought mine from the Lexus dealer in Winnipeg. They had it for sale for 5 months with no bites. Dropped the price 6,000 from original list so I bought it. My buddy from Winnipeg drove it out here to Edm and took my 2006 Gs430 back with him as he wanted it. Check out Birchwood Lexus in Wiinipeg and the dealer in Saskatoon, they both have much better pricing than here. Even B.C. was cheaper than Edm or Calgary. Good part is, no PST if you are from Alberta.
Haha, I worked at Birchwood for a few yrs when it was a combo Toy/Lex dealer in the old location. Those are smaller cities/dealers though and don't have as much stock as out here.
$44k - 2015 LS 460 Base -17K miles, one owner clean history and title.
That's about $15,000 over the going rate for a private party sale.
And Gerf's example is about $38,000 USD and is a dealer retail price with CPO coverage.
Still high, though (Canada pricing may be higher than US pricing).

Not sure what he is smoking but you can get a 2018 S560 for less than that price.
Sounds like he isn’t really interested in selling that car. He can enjoy the gas guzzler 😉
