Been looking for the past few months for a very nice 2016-2017, low mileage LS460. Finally found what I hope will be a long term happy ownership.
My lady and I own a 2014 ES350 and have been very happy with this Lexus.
I have been a high performance AMG owner for many years, but, I am about to retire and can't afford the expensive maintenance of the AMG. So, an LS460 was my choice and the 2016/2017 years seem to be the one to buy.
Car is a one-owner, clear Carfax white over tan interior with just under 26k miles. Southern California car its whole life. Will pick it up this weekend. Hopefully a smooth deal. Will post pics after I get it home.

Welcome. Sounds like a good deal. I hope you have a little LS fund set aside, just in case.

Thanks for the welcome
On the subject of maintenance and known issues with the LS460’s, is there a post or sticky discussing known issues? I’m a pretty good wrench - am in the process of a nut and bolt restoration of a vintage AMG, so very little intimidates me.

You picked a great car for how you want to use it, also found one with really low miles and no rust or salt issues. You should get a great many miles before you have to do anything beyond normal maintenance. My 2015 LS460 AWD, I am the second owner, just hit 57 thousand miles, absolutely issue free to date for me and the previous owner, knock on wood.

You picked a good model year. I got my 2017 in May 2023 from a used lot down in Costa Mesa. I joined this site when I first decided I wanted an LS and it's been pretty much indispensable ever since.
The 2017 was the last year for the LS460 but I think the last couple model years are the most desirable. By the 2017 models Lexus fixed most of the issues that plagued early models from 2007 on. The melting interiors were a thing of the past, valley cooling leak was (supposedly) fixed, and the trouble-prone air suspension was no longer an option. One hopes Lexus will offer another V8 at some point, even if it has fewer cubic inches - to me, the twin turbos of the replacement car, the LS500, just don't have the same aesthetic. If anything this engine is a step backwards for a car that is supposed to be Lexus' flagship.

I don't believe valley plate and air suspension issues went away. Your car is just not old enough to have it.

Is it a 2016 or 2017? One model year older reduces the price by several thousand. If yours is a 2017 California car you should be paying around $23K.

No offense, but I would love to see a similar LS460 for $23k....
Looked the ClubLexus Marketplace Sold results for 2016/2017 LS460's and found just one that sold in 2022 for $42k. This was an F Sport LS460, to b e fair. Looking on Bring a trailer, the closest car to mine was a May 2024 sale of a 2013 LS460 with 39k miles and it sold for $30k
