you lucky....
It could be 50/50...leak or not...
Also it could not leak fuel..but leak combustion....those injectors work hard, and leak can increase temperatures and more issues to come...connector, wires breaking..or even fire..
sensor showing almost 1700 psi..fuel pressure at the rail..
lexus engineers stupid?
I dont think so...
I learned expensive way, bought 4 ...350$ each, new injectors,THEY ARE COMING WITH NEW TEFLON SEALS,BUT THEY NOT INSTALLED...,luckily lexus texs..we're friendly, they installed seals on new injectors...I installed on my car...will see how it goes...
another lesson learned...
Better to buy new orings, seal and tool as well, follow the procedure and do yourself...but its time consuming and stressful...
I love my LS...but its aging, 14 years old and almost 200k miles,11 years in Chicago harsh conditions...issues to come, air suspension, rusts appeared, seen small oil leaks,on valve covers,by fuel pumps as well, alternator, starter,ac,even water pump are from the factory, I guess they going to let know about themselves, even I took care well about my car

that is a really stupid response but ill appease you.
Removed and cleaned with new seal. You can see how the new seal is not compressed like the OPs. The injectors were removed from my cayenne and sent out for cleaning at a local diesel injector shop. All in, about $350 for a set of 8 after 170k miles. Had one injector failed. But you do you and reuse. Hopefully it lasts. For $2 a seal and a kit, ill put new seals every time.
Removed seals. Very easy to damage.

Those are not direct injectors off LS460.

A Lexus dealership did seal replacement for you, I missed that part. I thought, you did it yourself, sorry for misunderstanding.
