Seems to borrow some styling cues, proportions etc. from the BMW 7 series and 5 series.

 

god i hope they dont borrow that trunk design

 

Are we suppose to see a prototype at the Tokyo Autoshow next month ?

 

I was wondering when someone was going to point out the RL similarity.

 

I'm not liking any of those.

 

I must say that the RL, when it came out, looks somewhat reminiscent of the LS 430, taken to a shortened length, and made more angular....so who's copying who...

Anyhow, I hope the LS 460 looks original, more like how the GS and IS look distinctively Lexus.

 

I know its a LS 600H but this is from ROAD and TRACK July '05 issue....i am sure you guys have talked about this....sorry i had to take the picture of the article with my digicam...

Wonder how much, if any, tweaking they are still doing?

 

Does anybody know when we will see anything in an auto show like Sexy asked earlier? Will it be next month or will it be in Jan just like the GS?

We don't know yet, they should start announcing the debuts for the Tokyo show starting 9/28 but don't expect the LS at that show. My guess would be Detroit, Chicago or NY.

My guess? I bet we see the new Camry in Tokyo, the ES in Detroit and the LS in Chicago or NY. They'll want to space this stuff out, no sense shooting the works all in one show..
