Also Sick.. I've always felt that people spending upwards of $75K on a luxury car do not make decisions on price alone. Being the "low price leader" is not necessarily a good thing.

New one has some unbelievable features, for someone not to recognize that, they have to be really trying hard.
This car is THE luxury car at this point of time. With LS600h coming, I simply do not see anything coming anywhere close to it for a long time.

Sort of like how on the best first and business class airlines you have a library of on-demand movies, entertainment, all already available at your fingertips--courtesy of an onboard server.

1. 8 GB music server...hard drive on the car. You can upload music via the aux input, from your iPod, or you can buy music through an online uplink (at least this is what is available in Lexus Japan)...Lexus G-Book.
2. Body temperature sensor--part of the new, 4-way climate control system. Likely adjusts the air flow to your liking not only on cabin temperature, but also your body temperature. Likely sensors in the back and bottom of seats. Maybe even tells you your body temperature.
3. Smart card--available on the long-wheelbase version? A more advanced form of smart key, with remote start?

Here is our thread on the new S

Both are stellar cars.
But Lexus engine technology is so efficient. Mercedes needs 5.5 liters to make 382 peak HP. Lexus only needs 4.6 liters, basically one less liter to make 380HP. THen the Lexus is much more fuel efficient.
That is advancement!
