I'm 25 and love my LS400, but I also love not driving it.
Its nice to keep in the garage and take out once in a while and only at night. I always keep a cheap 5spd sports car on hand. Right now I have a 92' Miata that I daily drive.
As for the LS460, I sat in one this weekend and think its a fantastic car. No complains at all.....but what it doesn't give us under 35 guys is a flashy look of accomplishment. I know in my heart that once I have a family and settle down and need to be responsbile I'd only buy a LS. But right now honestly.....I'd look into something less reliable but more flashy to show off my hard earned buck like a S550.

I agreed about the S550 until this weekend when I saw them side by side. The LS gives up nothing to the Benz. They both have better lines than the other here and there, but I wouldn't call either a flashier car than the other. The Benz has the star and that goes a long way. But if you look at detail and presence the LS is at least the match, and I personally think, more than the match for the S.
I really didn't thinkI would feel this way. I have always thought the Europeans had a clear style advantage, but it's really shrunk or disappeared with the new LS.
I would say that the LS is to the S what an IS is to a 3.

My thoughts EXACTLY. I've always liked the looks of the LS, especially the 430 - it just makes whoever is in it look IMPORTANT. The new 460/600h I would absolutely rock - I'm 28, and I wouldn't mind being seen driving one of those around...
I would buy one in a second - if only I had the money!!!

I hate to pick on you dude, don't think it's like a vandetta against you or anything, but I think you're full of ****. Weren't you going to put down a deposit on the LS460, but then said you won't if it doesn't have the oscillating vents, and you wouldn't consider it because it has less features than the LS430...(
