Default Any younger people like this car?

I've had my IS 350 for about 10 months now, and I like it even more now than when I first got it... But I have to say, the new LS is the first one of these big super-luxury sedans to really catch my eye. My friend has an S55, and while it's really fast, I don't like the styling that much, and all the crazy extra features just break all the time, and don't seem that useful. I never thought the new 7 was so great either. But I really think the feature list on the new LS is amazing, and I like its sporty (for this category) looks - I saw one at the US Open last week, and it looks small and sleek considering how big it actually is. I never thought I'd want a car like this at this age (26), but now I'm thinking about trading up to something bigger once my IS lease is up. Anyone else feel this way, or am I just getting old?

I have a deposit on an LS and I'm 31. That too old?

I am pretty young and the LS has always been my favorite Lexus. But like I say, by the time I can afford it, the flagship car will be called 'LS 8000hLL'

I'd rock it, but I don't find it functional for my current car needs. My IS suits me -- it has the space and power that I need. Do I need a big passenger car with about 400 hp? Not yet.

I like the LS. Would I buy one? Not at this time...

However, if it looked like this, I'm putting my deposit down!!!

Cool, good to know I'm not the only one. I never thought I'd get a Lexus at all, and now that I have one, I'm leaning towards the super-luxury flagship... Most of my driving is on highways, so it's fine if it doesn't have the tightest suspension ever... I'd rather arrive in comfort. Maybe in 26 months I'll be able to get a deal on one. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm 24 and became a big fan of the LS and Lexus in general after my uncle drove me around in his 1 year old 95 LS400 when I was ~14 years old. Before that point most of my car experience had been with my parents cars which at the time was just a Honda Civic and a Ford Taurus. lol

I was blown away by how smooth and quiet yet powerful it was, how great the seats felt, and how nice the stereo was.

Anyhow... my dream garage would consist of an LS460 - base model is 100% fine by me. A C6 Corvette targa top, and the new 07 Chevy Avalanche or maybe the new Tundra. Those three vehicles would cover all possible scenarios for me.

I'm 46, when I was in my 20's I could not afford a Ford Pinto, nor any of my friends. Glad to see so many young peps making the big flow at such an early age.

I own a 2006 GS430, my son whos 19 said and I quote, "Dad you buying one of those new LS's, no if's, and's or butt's" lol

I was 16 when I got a 1994 LS400.
I was 17 when I got a 2005 LS430.
I'm 18 now and almost 19 (few more months) and the LS460 looks ugly. That's ugly in a bad way, not some hip-hop term which is positive.
However, I'm on the waiting list for the LS600lh to surprise my mom on her birthday in about three years hopefully if things work out right.

Would I get the LS460/600 for myself? Hell no, would I like to drive it every other week? Hell yes!

You know you can make it look like this(I prefer the stock exhaust cover though), so put your deposit down

Wow, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I think the new LS is by far the best looking one to date. The only other super-luxury cruiser I would drive is the A8/S8, but I still like the new LS better. I can't wait to give it a try at Taste of Lexus...

I'm in college, and as much as I think its a great car to cruise in comfort, I would never buy one.

When I do hit the age to buy a car of this size, I much prefer the styling of the German flagships. Maybe I'm biased since we used to have a 7, had 3 S Class, and now have an A8.
