Rear seat AC

For the rear AC option, it eats into trunk space providing only a 12 cubic foot trunk. That's less than a Corolla. You would think that people who would choose this option would not be happy with a small trunk. Not sure how practical this option really is.

Practical? It should be.
Although the trunk space will be limited compared to competitors, it still provides enough room for overnight/weekend luggage, or two/three sets of golf bags.
If you're planning to haul hardware supplies or a Chrismas tree or furniture, perhaps the LS is not the vehicle one should be considering when going out to purchase such items...
