Ugh. The car I want isn't even close to being on this list. I wanted Nobel Spinel Mica with black interior, LWB, touring package.

Looks like a have quite a wait ahead.

 

You can always special order it the way you want, just have to wait 3-4 months for it.

 

Yeah, I suppose that's what I'll have to do. I went almost 32 years without an LS460, I suppose another few months won't kill me.

lol, white on black, it's always a tough option from lexus isn't it

but then again, white on black has always been about sporty. i would want it for the sc430, gs460, and is350, but definitely not on the ls460/600hl for me. just doesn't look classy imho.

my choice for this car is only black on black

 

They didn't order any Truffle Mica eh ? That would be one of the paint colors I would be interested in, plus the Smoky Granite, Obsidian Black & Black Sapphire.
I would get the Black Opal, but that's exclusive to the 600hL & I probably won't go for the hybrid . . .

 

andrew i forgot, what's the diffrence between obsidian black and black sapphire?

 

Obsidian Black is black whereas black sapphire is dark blue, & black opal is the dark purplish blue on the 600hL

 

One positive thing I see in the production sheet is that I won't have to risk hurting my eyes seeing the hideous center console without a nav screen the next time I visit my dealership. Whew.

It's also kind of a shame that the harddrive-based audio server is only available to the LS460L, considering the new G35 is going to have it. What's so exclusive about it anyway? Is the map data without the audio server then stored on a DVD like the old way? If not, and the map data is to be stored on a harddrive regardless, why not bundle the audio server with the navigation system, as it barely adds any cost (just a different firmware I suppose)? Yet another puzzling mystery from Lexus.

 

Good to hear about the NAVI, etc.

As for the audio server, considering you need to record from CDs anyways, I guess the 460 owners will just need to use mp3/wma discs.
