Default Test drove it, Loved it, placed the order! (some questions)

Ok first of I'm a proud owner of a 2002 SC430 love the car, but decided its time for a bigger new car so I stopped by the lexus dealer today. I test drove a grey LS460 with black interior, comfort package, Nav, Park Assist, and one touch Open/Close trunk and doors. The ride was fabulous, loved everything about the car.

So I placed an order on LS460 starfire pearl with black interior/walnut trim
$61,000
-Comfort Package -$1290.00
-Parking Assist $500.00
-Navigation System/Advanced Parking Guidance System $3,815
-One Touch Power Trunk and Door $395.00
Delivery fee: $715.00
Total: $67,715 +tax

Now my sales woman will call me Monday with a quote on a chrome 18 inch rims. She said they should be between $1900-$2500, I don’t have a picture of them but they are on page 21 of the brochure (Middle ones 18 inch accessories). Now my question is should I get these for that price or if you could recommend another brand that would look nice on the car, 18 inch pref chrome. Any help would be appreciated.

Also anyone know the woofer size of the Mark Lavinson system, from the pictures it looks 6 to 8 inch? I'm not sure if I should add this system on for extra $3000 or just upgrade it myself for 3k with deeper bass (larger woofers)

one more favor, anyone have any pictures of the LS in starfire pearl? I never seen that shade of white before so I gambled, but I get all my cars in white. So if you have any photos please post them would love to see it.

Thank you in advance
DKNY

From all I have read so far, the Mark Levinson system is worth the money. You should go for it.

I haven't heard the LS460 ML sysyem yet, so I also welcome comments from someone who has actually experienced the system.

10" is perfect, I like the punch it gives over 12 or 8. Thanks for the reply guys, I think I'll take that system.

id get the Mark Levinson, nice color/color combo, ML (19 speakers) gains many speakers over the base audio (10 speakers) and is further amplified, very well worth it. For a Lexus personally I wanted to keep it as OEM as possible, on the IS the ML upgrade is 940 bucks. But it only gains 1 speaker over the standard, a center channel. LS almost doubles its speakers

Congratulations on the order.
Price seem pretty fair

I would definitely get the nav/ML. I have it in my gx and love it. Going aftermarket might and probably be much more expensive b/c it's going to be a custom job. Try adding 19 speakers too

Since no one addressed the chrome rims. To me that seems way overpriced. I'll save that $$$ and spend something much nicer.

For bmw, to upgrade from 18's to 19's is just a grand, for comparison.

yup, on the ls460l it seems like the ml is about 3k premium, but i think it's well worth it

The 18" shiny alloy wheels you are referring to cost $1995 and are not yet available. Maybe in a month or two.
