It all goes to why someone buys a car. I bought the E55 because it does it is NOT as showy as a 911 -- especially when debadged -- and does NOT draw as much attention. Same reason for the Phaeton. We'll probably debadge the LS460L, but you can't really get rid of the big L on the back since it's mounted in an indentation...

brt3 - if you do decide to debadge the Lex, can you let me know how you did it and how much the repaint costs?
I've wanted to for a while on the LS430 but I can't bring myself around to having the holes filled and (gasp) perhaps having the entire trunk repainted to look smooth.

I will check with our service manager to confirm this, but are you certain the LS460 uses pins in addition to adhesive? By poking around I thought it used adhesive only, but I am not a Lexus expert. Everyone else (Benz, BMW) went to adhesive-only quite some time back, as it eliminates a potential source where rust can start.
