Default Another LS460L Color question...

I'm about to place an order on an Obsidian LS460L but can't decide on the interior color. Initially i was going to order Black, but my business partner (who is also ordering one) is trying to convince me that Cashmere looks richer/better with obsidian. What do you guys think? I currently have BMW with beige leather and it looks like crap after having 3 kids in the car. I like Black for it's sportiness but Cashmere for it's prestige. Please help me decide.
Thank you

The black will look better longer, especially with kids. I also like the way the wood trim looks with the black interior.
Good luck.

Default Obsedian/Cashmere

I have ordered Obsedian with cashmere interior. For me the light color gives a richer look and makes the car look more spacious and airy. The drawback is that it tends to show marks more readily. My children are grown up and most of the time I am the only one in the car and I can keep up with the clening.

Black on the other hand while looking great tends to make me feel cramped. And dust and dirt shows up easier especially in the seams of the seats. I like the deep color of the wood that is available in both colors.

i might be biased, but i would get black no matter what, especially with kids (like what shannon said). i have ivory in my gs400 now, after yrs it's not as clean as black imho

moreover, at the launch party i sat in ls460 with both colors, i definitely think the black is more classy. just my 2 cents

All our cars are black on black except the LX. That's an anomaly.

You know where I stand.

While I agree cashmere (or alabaster) will likely give the car a more luxurious ambience inside, plus make the interior look more spacious, I like black on black for this particular car. Cashmere IMHO will be more suitable for colors like Noble Spinel Mica, Verdigris, the Truffle Mica, or the gold color.

Having sat inside the LS 460 L with black interior, I have to say it looks stunningly great this time. For some reason, I have found the 'default' or 'halo' presentation of the past LS vehicles to be in lighter colors (beige/tan/white), only with the 3LS did black become more 'in' -- especially with the '04s with the special Antique Walnut trim which faded black towards the edges to match.

The LS 460 / 460 L with black interior...WOW.

Guys and Girls,

Thank you for all your suggestions. The order is in for 2 LS460L.
I was told I will have them by the 3rd week of December. I'll let you know as soon as I get them and I'll take pics if anyone is still interested.

Dmitry
