I was sitting in a Mark Levinson equipped LS460...
last night showing the new owner the features. I slid a surround sound DVD into the slot and even I was stunned. With the gain about half way I was immersed inside of the sound as if I were in the studio. The video was sharp and bright on the new 8 inch VGA screen too. The subtle movement of sound direction was easy to distinguish. What this system needs is more DVD 5-7.1 surround sound software to play. I totally agree that if your source is radio or stereo turn off the surround and it will open up the dispersion to a more natural image.
