Well My Friends, Today is My Big Day!!!
After an exhorbinant amount of anticipation I finally take delivery of my car today. I ordered a black/black 460.
Last night I swung by the dealership to see if I could get a peek and sure enough it was sitting under a covered area shining proudly! It was the only 460 on the lot (of course) and it was sporting the bright yellow SOLD tag.
My wife does not exactly love cars (somewhat indifferent) but even she was excited to see it. We both forgot how large the car is and how much of a commanding presence this car has.
Of course I will post pictures after I pick it up but it is going to be a little while since I am going to be rolling around almost non stop after I take delivery.

Attached is one pic with the brake lights on (the shot that I wanted for a long time but never could find). For some reason I was only able to upload one. No idea???
Anyway, the car exceeded my expectations in every way. For those who are worried about handling, don't. I did not notice any serious body roll during normal driving. Of course it is extremely quiet, I love XM, the leather is great, the size is perfect, the smell is amazing, the controls are well laid out, it has a very luxurious feel, etc. The only bad thing is that you have to look out for the people around you as they seem to be focused on the LS more than the road and traffic around them
It is definitely the nicest car I have ever owned and ever driven (and yes I have driven a 750).

WOW those pics are really stunning. I do think that black is one of the best colors for the new LS, if not THE best. It's no wonder that Lexus is using the black LS for 2 of its commercials.
I am truly envious. The pics with the brake lights on---LOVE the LEDs, they really enhance the back when active.
