What brand of pod devices do you use to plug music into the AUX unit in the console? Not Apple gear; I don't have an Apple computer. I have a Creative unit, but the #$%& software doesn't work, and its past warranty. I want to buy another pod, but I want everything to work. Thanks for the help.

i dont have an apple computer, but i do own an ipod and am extremely happy with it. they ARE pc compatible you know....

I'm pretty sure the minority of ipod owners have ever had apples. Operating system not pertinant. I only mention it because it's a superior product.

Get an ipod or load your CD's onto the internal HDD. It's not the player that matters it's the software. iTunes makes it easy and you can only use iTunes with an iPod.

i am confused. are you trying to ask how you can connect your creative mp3 player to the car aux input? aux input is a standard, it's not platform specific like ipod. just get a normal headphone jack type aux connector and you are good to go. it's just like an input signal to the car, you play from your player.

i hope i am not confusing you more. bottom line is, you do NOT need an ipod to play mp3 on this car...
