Question What is Your Fuel Economy ?

Fellow LS460 owners .. I'm trying to get a feel for what NORMAL fuel economy is on the LS460. I've had my LS460L for about a week, and I'm not getting close to the published MPG ratings are.

Thought I would try to get a feel for what others are experiencing.

Here's my specs:

Current Mileage: 386
City / Hwy: 50/50
Avg MPG: 16.7
Driving Style: Lead Foot
Fuel Type: QT Premium

On the first full tank (dealer's fill up), 21.7 MPG on the trip computer. I didn't do a hand calculation to verify that. Probably a 40/60 mix of in town and freeway. This engine is only turning about 1600 RPM at 65 MPH.

Premium gas
Probably 70 highway
Driving style: easy on the accelerator

That right there might be it.

Isn't that cheap gas? Might want to try a more reputable brand like Chevron, Shell, or BP.
