Default Smoky Granite Or Black Sapphire

Have a preference for Smoky granite for the LS460 but my wife would rather have Black Sapphire because she likes blue. Expecting my car in about a month. Have seen many Smoky Granite LS460s at dealerships in the DC metro area. Seems to be very particular. However, have yet to see the LS460 in Black Sapphire though I've seen the color on other cars. Could someone help me decide between these two color choices?

These two colors are my top 2 choices right now so it would be a difficult decision for me too.
There is no question the car would look great in either of these colors. I saw a Black Sapphire Pearl LS460 in person in a launch party & I can assure you it's a beautiful paint & the car looks fantastic in that paint You really can't go wrong with either . . .

The Black Sapphire is stunning in person. I would definitely get that color if I had the choice.

Tough choice and one that I have faced. I saw both cars but not side by side. One (the smoky granite) was outside in broad daylight while the Black Sapphire was on display inside. The people at the dealership thought the Smoky Granite was the better color and that's the way I went.

I so wish I could see the Black Sapphire in person. Have called all the dealerships in the DC metro area but none has it. The Smoky I know is beautiful! But I am feeling more and more that the best thing would be to see the two colors side by side. I've been invited to look at other cars in Black Sapphire. But this may not be the same since more work is supposed to have gone into the LS paint process. By the way, the picture of the Smoky also does not do justice to the color when seen in person.

It's just the opposite for me, I have not seen the LS460 in Smoky Granite yet in person, but having seen it on the IS350, I can imagine it will look fabulous on the LS460 too.

I wonder if the same color has the same effect on the different models...

My friend got the smoky granite and that is a beautiful color, I have seen it during day and night and during both modes it looks amazing. I saw the black one on the dealership and it also looks great. IMHO both colors looks very sharp and if you want to enjoy the car you better please the lady and go with the black one. Both are nice looking vehicles.
