I picked up my LS460 last Tuesday and have put on about 300 miles. (RWB, CPlus, ML/Nav, APGS, Smoky Granite Mica over black) Having given up on the Germans (M-Bs since 1981) my needs have evolved into less fuss, higher build quality and more comfort, something the LS460 seems to have in spades. I didn't buy it to sort out the twisties - that's what sports cars are for. That said, it goes like squat and leaves nothing to be desired at 9/10ths, which is as far as I (and probably most of Lexus's target market) will push it anyway. Plus I've gotten 22 mpg so far with a fairly aggressive foot.
As has been said many times on this board, this car is an amazing piece of engineering. There's ample interior space (even with the RWB, my 6' son's knees were still 6-7 inches from the back of the front seat), my size nines had plenty of room around the pedals, and it panic stops very quickly and with nary a whimper. The buttons, drawers, doors, storage areas and lighting are designed with first-rate materials and silk-smooth operation.
The Mark Levinson sound system is hands-down the best audio experience I've ever had, including several high four- and five-figure custom home and auto installs. The extended output options like SAT, HD and iPod connectivity make it just that much more versatile and enjoyable.
I'll admit I'm spoiled so far. Despite all the prelease hype, Lexus has exceeded my expectations - excellent value-for-money, wonderful driving experience.

Those are beautifully shot pics, the car looks stunning and the reflections in the paint are very nice. That interior/exterior color combination is something worth savoring...wow!
Keep enjoying your car, you earned it.

Nice use of the lens there...artistic choices in the photography. The last time I've seen a top-down view like that was for the 1989 LS 400 brochure and that lacked the 3d effect...an LS 430 ad did a 3/4 semi top-down view as well; this is pretty cool.
