Anyone with a pulse could drive each car for 3 miles and see that the LS is miles and miles and miles and miles and miles ahead of the 300. Even if you're talking new vs. used, one can expect the LS to have only a fraction of the problems that the 300 would have over any time or distance that you want to consider.
From what my dad says, it's because new cars have financing while old/used cars you typically have to pay all the money up front. Most people only have enough money to pay the payments on a car rather than pay for a car in whole at once.

Agreed, too bad Im poor and going to college. If I could afford one I would love to buy one. I do know many younger kids who love the new LS look.

Off topic: thermactor is that a CZ-52 in your avatar?

Nope. Your age is fine. I purchased my 2003 LS430 when I was 22. I am now 25 and am just waiting for the prices to come down slightly from sticker before I get my 07 LS.

The 03 LS, IMHO, was much more characteristic of a grandpa-mobile. The '07 LS is just stunning and beautiful for all ages.

Default I'm 29!

I'm 29 years old and I have just got out of my BMW 745i into the new LS460L. I feel like it's been long overdue!

Wow, what do you do to afford such high end vehicles at 29!? Congrats by the way.

Also, what were the problems you had with your 745i?

Thanks.

I have to say, you're never too young to drive an awesome car! My husband will be 34 next month and I'm 27. We traded in his 2001 GS300 for the 2007 LS460 about 2 weeks ago. I was 24 when I picked up my 2004 GX470. It's all about what you're willing to spend you hard earned $$ on. I'm happy to forgoe the chanel this and gucci that because I'd rather drive a lex.

my cousin got the LS460L when he turned 18 (not spoiled, he leased it). before than he had a LS430 UL and before that he had a LX470. he isnt spoiled, just hard working. so even if you're young, you'll look old driving a LS and when you're old, you'll still look old! LOL.

as for me, i know i can't afford it but i'm happy with my GS3.

Got my first LS when I was 31. As long as you can afford it, go ahead.

I'm 38 and I don't think I'm too young for the car. In Singapore, it is a grandparents car but it is a grandparents' car because it cost SGD$300,000 (USD$220,000) and many around my age can only get like the GS. If you can afford such a good car when you're young then why not?
