If that story is true, maybe he traded the Bentley after gettin an estimate for a simple break pad changing?... On a Ferrari changing break pads can cost up to 7 grand depending on the model.

I traded in my 2006 Acura RL for the 460LWB... My RL was a good car but not Great.... I took a bath on my RL because the Acura dealer was flooded with them and couldn't get rid of them. I bought the RL new for only $500.00 over actual invoice and was still a mess when I sold it. Upside down $7,000 even with almost 10% down when I bought it. I knew I would lose some with a quick turnaround but I couldn't believe that the best I could get was $4,000 under low bluebook.
Lexus has definitely won this battle.

Nice story
Wonder which Bentley was traded for 2 LS460's . I don't really care too much for the Bentley Continental Flying Spur sedan(love the coupe & convertible though), but I have to admit if I have the $$$, I'd rather have one each of the Bentley Arnage & the LS460L rather than 2 LS460's . . . alway love the Arnage, it's so regal looking & the interior is gorgeous.

I was waiting for a story like this.
How amazing would it be with the LF-A. Some dude comes and is like I'll take 4 LF-A for my Carrera GT or trade in their Aston Martin.
Back to the story.
Two LS460 sets you back $145,604. Must have been a Bentley Continental GT / Flying Spur, a used one pretty much around that price.
I just wonder why he would do something like that, guess did not have what he wanted. Goes to show more expensive car is not always the best choice. one thing I would not mind owning a Continental GT thats for sure.

I would imagine if he had a CGT that it was too small, although the car has rear seats its more of a 2seater and for some people its hard to justify the high $$$ for such a impractical car (cant pick up family from the airport, or take 3 clients to dinner, etc etc)

My pastor of my church owns a 2006 LX 470 his wife has a 2006 SC 430, 2007 S 550, Maybach (dunno if its a 52 or 62) and daughter has a 05 I think 530i. They have a Cadallic sedan too I think but havent seen it in a while.
At my local toyota dealership, someone traded in a 2007 Aston Martin DB9 Volante with only 2000 miles, which the owner is currently driving. Listing price is $179,000. Still want to know what they traded this in for.

Andrew, JP Lexus just took in a 2008 1-month old Navy Blue Aston-Martin V8 Vantage (white interior) on a LS trade. It was on the floor when I took mine in for service two weeks ago. I recall Dale telling me they wanted $115K for it. I almost jumped on it, but came to my senses before I left. The guy bought it the month before but tired of it quickly. A real beauty it was though... I doubt very much it's still there.
