Additional Air Filter Question
Does anyone use the additional air filter button (just to the left of the recirculate button)? I was trying to think about why you would use it as it doesn't stay on long (instead I would just push the recirculate button). Also, why doesn't it stay on all of the time?
Thanks!
Thanks!

It's one of the best comfort features on the car.
What it is an "extra fine air filter"..above and beyond the standard one in the AC. Think of it as a better filter to be used when needed. Whenever I am driving by a cow ranch or someother smelly area...I hit the button and the filter cleans all the incomming air into the car....no smell what so ever.
The reason it shuts it's self off is that since it does such a good job of pulling the particles out of the air...it will clog up quite quickly if you forget to turn it out after you pass thru the smelly air.
