Image watching Ebert and Roper and having them spend the time reviewing each other's careers and background and spending less than half of the time actually talking about the movies they were supposed to be reviewing.

Yes it's true they did do a lot of extrapolation...in contrast to MotorWeek which focused entirely on the car, but then again they had a only a 10-minute segment to fill time with. BTW the MotorWeek vid is available freely on their website.
However it's far better than the AutoNews.TV one where they were invited to Austria for the LS 460 European premiere and simply used the LS 460 as a set backdrop, with the host introducing segments of general automotive news from the backseat. No real commentary on the LS at all!![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)
Still I thought Speed Test Drive gave a very positive review of the LS...it whets the appetite, the real car is needed to sate it.

Thing thing that frustrates me the most about all of the reviews I've seen so far on the LS is that they all focus on the "Gadgets" and spend very little time talking about the performance of the car. Even the Speed review, which was a 22 minute show devoted specifically to the LS, had only a few comments on the handling and performance while the guys were racing. They spent more time talking about the freakin' navigation system, than performance and the ride. What a disappointment. But I guess you have to expect it since that seems to be the market that Lexus is targeting.

I got so frustrated watching this show, as more time was spent with the drivers talking about themselves and about future car technology than about the car they were reviewing.
