I think that would be inappropriate. Settle your issue with them, and then assuming it is mutually cordial, approach them with your sales pitch.

RESOLUTION IS HERE:
So, it seems that the delay was due to some miscommunication rather than them trying to stall me. I did talk to the GM of the dealership and it seems that he took a lot of time and effort to make sure that I'm happy with what is going to happen. It actually exceeded my expectations even though they were already pretty high.
I know I have withheld the name of the dealership as I didn't want to damage their reputation as they have been awesome to me since '99 when I first started servicing my car there. I can reveal now that the dealership is the Stevens Creek Lexus in San Jose, CA. I'm happy that they were able to, once again, satisfy a damanding customer like myself ( something that BMW wasn't able to do for the 3 years of my ownership of the 745i ).
Thank you to all who have given me advice over the last week on this forum. I look forward to participating in other more lively discussions about our awesome LS cars :-)

For me this is a no brainer.
1) Who damaged the car? - They did.
2) Who has to fix it? - They have to.
After you come to an agreement, demand commitment. In writing and with a time frame. Simple as that.
If they start jerking you around, have you lawyer give them a polite call.

All things considered I think it is a fair resolution. Shoot us some pics when the repairs are all done and let us know how the repair process went.

That car should be fixed to perfection and nothing more. If someone hit you
in a parking lot you wouldn't ask for more that a fixed car. People always
look for free stuff at the dealer. The dealer should fix the car ASAP, give
a Lexus loaner and say sorry for this.
