There is no ML 10 speaker system...only the premium sound 10 speaker system (probably made by pioneer or panasonic). All ML systems have 19 speakers.

Also, XM comes packaged with the NAV option in the US.

Mallory...

You are actually partially correct, because if you have ML, you also have the NAV option which automatically gets you the XM radio option (at least in the US).

XM is standard with the nav. First three months are free. Never thought about it before but signed up for the 3 year XM plus Traffic. Traffic is worth the $$$'s alone.

XM had a special promotion couple of weeks ago. 50% off. I renewed my service for 1 year at $75/year. You can call them and tell them you received a card in the mail with this promotion and they'll honor it.

Default Free XM

My car came with 2 months of free XM radio. Dealer said I would get a notice in the mail close to the end of the 2 months to sign up (I already have an XM subscription on my 04 LS430, so at that time I will just pay for the additional subscription).

BTW, I had the XM installed on my 04 and I paid $800 and they put the antenna on the top of the back trunk, right under the window. Looks good, but the new LS with Nav looks so much better. Love the shark fin antenna!!

Craig
I just renewed mine for $77/year plus $3.95 per month for the Nav Traffic feature. Thanks for the tip! That worked out perfectly!

XM radio is a dealer installed option, not a factory option in Canada. The reason for this, so I have been told, is that XM traffic is not available here so Lexus did not equip the LS XM ready from the factory (no wiring or the shark fin antenna).
In order to do the install the interior of the car has to be taken apart (from the dash to the truck) . This is a lengthy and labor intensive process. You also get the, not so attractive, black puck style antenna ( a shark fin style antenna cover may be able to be retro fitted over the puck to make it look better).
Good luck with your decision.
