Does anyone know the offsets/width on the platinum LS460? That would defiantly be something to know for those looking for 22's for the LS who have air suspension.
Even "Pimp My Ride" doesn't usually stoop to the levels of visual atrocity in this thread. How some people can think these "mods" are improvements is absolutely beyond me! Yes, they are unique, in the same way you could buy a million dollar engagement ring from Tiffany's and then coat it with black paint to make it "unique". Either way, you're ruining beauty.
agreed. there are simply too many clueless tacky tasteless people around. looks are subjective but taste is not.
Hey guys Im new to the forum. I have a 2009 LS460 in Truffle Mica. Have noticed alot of talk about rims & sizes. Ive had many cars and always customize them. In my opinion, stay away from 22's unless you want a LS that rides like a Chevy. The more rubber you can have the better. Ive seen alot w/ 20's and they look ok, but a little too small. Im going to go with 21's. They fill up the wheel well very nicely and allow you to have some more rubber. Im trying to decide which ones to go with and would love some feedback. Ive narrowed it down to two (pics attached). Let me know what you think. Also have full Wald ground effects kit (front, rear, & side aprons)thats being painted right now and will be installed w/ trunk spoiler & roof spoiler (dont worry, I didnt do the front or rear fenders).
Ditto number 1 looks best in my eyes. And yes I agree 21" wheels looks and perform just fine on the new LS. Been eyeing an '07 LS460L that the dealer can't seem to sell.. Please post pics when you get your car done with the Wald body kit.
