I think 2K was too much for the wheels. Probably 1.5K is too much also, but I'm happy about bringing the MRSP down 5.5K.
To "L_Rod": Unless you are buying some truly unique color combination, call around. The first dealer I went to, told me specifically, "We have called all the dealerships in the Western USA region, and nobody had the color combination you want. It is a rare color so you must pay more!". Yeah, right.
They say that to get you antsy and to pay more. For me, I simply called the next dealer down the road (15 min drive), and they had the exact car I wanted. There is no need to pay more, and don't believe that "it is so much of a rare thing".
Once you find a dealer that has the color you want -- the trick is not to let them know. Act like you want a different color, and then "settle" on the one you want.
Or something. What do I know? nothing. The white + cashmere + Touring + parking options looks extremely nice, and it isn't as Rare as they tried to lead me to believe.

White/cashmere happened to be the first LS460L I ever sat in Congrats on the new LS & the good price you got Post in the ROLLCALL sticky thread too if you like & show us some pics of the new car if you can
