I cannot read any of it but I figure performance increased just a bit.

Lexus needs to conquer Japan with greater fervor. Most Japanese are still big on tradition, so MB trumps BMW trumps Lexus.

I think the new LS, especially the 600h, will help the change in mentality. The more selection for the Japanese, the better...

I've come to really appreciate the road presence of the LWB version.

I think the swb looks best. The only reason I'd ever consider the lwb is for the air suspension.

the 4LS swb looks almost as retarded as the s-class swb.

Actually, I like the way the short one looks better. Maybe it's just the color and the wheels.

We've owned a 745Li and the extra length has been somewhat unnecessary and even a hassle sometimes when trying to maneuver in tight spaces. Since I can fit in the back of the SWB LS460 with room to spare (I'm 6'3), that will be our next car.

Yeah, I think the wheels on the LWB are the worst looking of the OEM wheels for the new LS. Switch them over & it will look much better.

After seeing both LWB & SWB in person, I still think the L version looks better regardless of the wheels. And I agree it's the same with the new S class, I saw the SWB version several times in Europe last year & I think the LWB version looks a lot better.

I see about 50/50 SWB and LWB these days, and while I earlier thought the LWB was better looking, now I go back and forth.

Both are great lookers IMO.

LWB looks much nicer than the SWB, in my opinion.
