Question Seat belt alarm

Hi. If I do not disable to seat belt alarm, will the alarm ring if I put a heavy load on the front passenger seat if I don't buckle the seat belt?

I believe the alarm will only fire if it senses not only the "butt" load, but the seat back load as well.

What if it is a big box that leans on the seat?

if whatever big box is heavy enough and the shape is right, yes, it will trigger the sensors
