Absolutely no damage. Lexus of Seattle did an **excellent** job. My car has little over 5K miles and it fells/drives better than when it was brand new.

Great! Glad to hear it went well... I really don't like them taking my new car apart...

"Noise confirmed during previous test drive, wind buffeting noted from LH front window. Wind leak also noted from driver's door area.
Removed necessary parts from driver's door to install specified foam insulation per area FTS for wind leak. Installed laminated glass to minimize wind buffeting from LH front window. Test drove after repairs and verified effectiveness of operation. Performed same repairs on RH front door."

Again, Lexus of Seattle did an **excellent** job, I'm a very happy customer.

Default Same problem

I have talked to the dealer several times and they keep giving me this future date to repair the wind noise and of course nothing they can do about the locked out display.
Just wanted to vent my frustations.
Thanks
I have LS460 that has same problem. The dealer said they will fix the problem next week after I took the car for repair two times.

Please let me know if they can fix the problem. I believe the problem from the outside mirror that connect to the door.

Welcome to ClubLexus, ls460sfo!!!

The wind noise fix, the factory-supported one which began this month, has been reported successful in this thread:

Please refer to that thread for the wind noise issue, thank you.

Default Is everyone a first time NAV owner?

I've had NAV in my car since my first GS in 1998. NAV has had locked features while moving since it was introduced. It was locked in my 1998 GS400, 2001 GS 430, and it will be locked in my 2008 LS when I order it.

How is this such a detracting point? The Lexus NAV is still one of the best OEM systems available, and soon will be the last touch screen system available as people go to the idrive/cursor/joystick control model.

So lets rally against the wind noise, but give the NAV a break.
