I don't get it....to me they do not look alike. Yes, some similar design cues but not nearly the same. I never confuse them. Never confuse a Camry to an ES either. I can spot cheapness a mile away so it's hard for me to confuse them.
All women have breasts but I'll bet you can spot your ladys' breast instantaneously. All have nipples that look similar but not the same. Forgive me ladies for using the breasts for my example but some guys are hard headed and I wanted to let them visualize the point.

That's not a CL63. CL's are 2 doors.

My bad, it's a C63 AMG but whatever it is, I still call it an overpriced Chrysler

why do you want a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty with no washes and dealerships you can trust? The lexus warranty is by far the best and the dealerships are palaces?

One day I aspire to own a Camry but right now I guess I just have to drive one of the nicest cars ever produced worldwide. Poor me
You think that's bad. I paid for an LS460, and they delivered this baby to me. Only now, thanks to dunnojack, I find out it was a different car. I mean, they look similar, don't they? I'm marching right over tomorrow morning to get my change back. So, how much should I expect to get?

Yeah, in the past the Lexus/toyota similarities were kind of apparent.
Today, if someone makes that kind of comment, they are just being a smartass.

I have yet to confuse the two and based on size alone, not sure how they could be confused.

Absolutely not.

My brother has an ES350. That's a Camry.

My LS exemplifies the quality and luxury and stance that no other car can compare to. Not the S-Class, not the 7-Series, not a damn Camry. It stands alone.

For someone comparing the LS to the Camry is like someone comparing George Washington to George Bush. Just because they share similar qualities, doesn't make them the same...

How about comparing the South East Asian Toyota Camry/Australian Toyota Aurion with the LS?

There are surface similarities which appear somewhat more plainly in photos, but in person the cars are very different IMO. Only the front profile, if seen from very far w/o glasses etc., can be similar but in clear view they are different.

That's YOUR opinion and just because that's what YOU think, it doesn't neccessarily make it so. Don't try to tell me what I think about either car.
