Question Dashboard, rear audio and seat controls question

Hi. I would like to know whether the buttons on the dashboard, rear audio and rear seat controls on the LS460 are illuminated in blue like the one on the LS600h.

Some photos:

Funny, if that is your LS600, then the illuminated switches look identical to the LS460.

Maybe it's the lighting. Can you take a night shot?

Makes sense Romin, and this would indeed represent a signature touch for the 600, in keeping with other areas like the badging. It's got me curious now. The difference may be too subtle to compare with a digital camera unless you do it in manual/macro mode with a steady hand. I'll try my Rebel on them tonight, and hopefully a 600 owner can do likewise for comparison. The photos he's taken sure look white enough though, and the difference in color temperature between blue and white is marginal under ambient lighting conditions.

I looked at my collection of interior pics, and it's hard to tell due to ambient lighting conditions. And then there is the instrument panel--blue lighted when dark but white daytime, I think the same on both 460 and 600h.

very true, i agree as well. what i am sure is that on the 460 the light up white. at least i remember on the rear armrest i saw letters in white led

now whether the 600 is blue, that's the key

FYI, I didn't take those photos. I found it on the net. I'm still considering to buy a LS460 SWB as I see that people are still complaining that the problem is not resolved yet even in the newer manufactured cars (after July 2007).
