Lightbulb 1SICKthought-LS-F.....V-10, SWB, oh my

So Lexus does have a V-10 for its LF-A. We are well aware of the Germans sharing big engins in their special department cars.

Rumors are flying about a GS-F with this same V-10. Now clearly if it can fit in a GS, it can fit in a LS.

I figure, V-10 from the LF-A, the usual drop/bigger rims, brakes, bodykit treatment. This will share production costs of this V-10.

Its not like AMG sells tons of S63 or S65 cars but it SURE is nice to offer. A great HALO for the brand. Audi with the S8 as well.

Your thoughts?

Seize, can we get a PS?

With some luck, we just possibly *might* see a LS-F by 2015

Definitely to offset the costs of the V10, why not put it in the LS, add more performance upgrades, and bring on the LS-F!!!

I think it largely depends on the success of the IS-F and GS-F... Unlike BMW "M" and MB "AMG", Lexus customers in general don't give a damn about performance THAT MUCH, therefore the GS and the IS will bomb. Not to mention, (IS-F) looks pretty gay compared to the competition...

What would even be better is, if the car went faster than 130 mph from factory.

And maybe the IS-F and GS-F would come in Manual transmission... Hey... we can all dream.

Why stop at V10? Toyota already makes a V12...

By 2015, maybe they do NEED at least a V12 for a LS-F

That will be weird.

To have a V10 LS be more powerful and aggressive than the "V12 hybrid" variant...

I think LS600hL is still a V8 hybrid . . . . . . & detuned for SULEV emission rating . . .

It's interesting how Lexus has made the hybrids out to be more of everything, power + efficiency.

Now with the F-Sport line it is all about power, they should differentiate that.
