Default XM Traffic Cost

Daryl:

I prepaid $149 for 3 years, and that amount was added to my active subscription to XM

Transfer doesn't work because it is supposedly unsafe to talk on the phone while driving. In this case it is not the liability issue for Lexus.

Do you mean you prepaid $149 total for 3 years of XM INCLUDING traffic or just $149 for 3 years of traffic or $149 per year for 3 years ($447) for 3 years of XM and/or XM Traffic????????????????????????????????

That sounds EXACTLY like what it is! Some lawyer will argue that Lexus made it too easy to switch to the handset and the driver caused (fill in the tort) because of the Lexus ease of doing something "unsafe".

Not sure what kind of phone you have, but on my Nokia N70, its just one key you press during the call.

I was able to use a "smartkey" thing on my new LG phone so I can transfer the call with two easy keystrokes. I can live with that. Thank you all for helping me get up to speed with the high tech toys on my new LS!
