I have to say the PS override unit absolutely transforms the Lexus nav into something I can finally actually use.

It's a crying shame we have to resort to aftermarket devices - and that those devices limit us to 5 minutes of use at a whack - but after being used to using my nav systems in other cars while moving, this unit does make me love my Lexus a lot more. It is a joy to once again regain the functionality of one of the most useful tools in my car.

If you haven't gotten the PS unit yet, I urge you to go for it.

Mike,

Thank you very much for the kind words. We just replaced the unit for Patric from WA state. His new unit is working perfect now also 07' with 7.1 upgrade. Today we received couple inquiries from Texas area again. Unfortunately one is in Houston area and will need to outsource to a reliable shop to do the installation. Again, we really appreciate all of your business at times your patience as well for us to resolve any issues. Thanks.

Have that person from Houston area "pm" me. I can get him in touch with the person who did my installation. This installer use to work for me as a mechanic; a very detailed and savvy person especially with auto electronics.

Mine's in and working fine, but it might be helpful to others to know what you're being charged to install just the PS override unit. It won't be the same everywhere, but it will give them an idea.

Have you guys sold any units to 2008 gs450h owners? I've tried wire splicing method, but it came out h1 plug was changed comparing to previous year models, and they also relocated pins plus changed wire colors.
Thx

it's that different on the 08? maybe that's why the override doesn't work

Yes, I was also shocked. First, I thought I'm still drunk and can't locate the right plug, but few sips of red bull later I realized I left the party 3 days ago, so it is not the case...
