He placed it in an ideal place - between the driver's seat heat/cool **** and the the sun shade button - nestled up against the base of the armrest. Perfect!

Here's a link to some images of the override in action:

sorry for the blurriness - used my iPhone, and of course, I WAS STILL FOCUSED ON DRIVING!

^^ Thanks for the feed back on usage..
I haven't been able to go through ALL the scenarios just yet..

Tip of the day: Try not to mess around with the DVD functions too much while actually driving... I have my passenger do all the work..

I am not sure if this area exists in the LS, but this is where I installed the switch on my 08' IS350
Perfect hidden area & easy to reach.

I've asked the reseller about upgrading to 7.1 Nav software - they don't believe it will be an issue, but I feel like being cautious on this one.

If, however, others are feeling free-spirited to upgrade to 7.1 with this override, please post if everything continues to work....

BTW, if anyone is in northern NJ and is looking for someone to install this override, PM me and I'll give you my neighbors contact info. He said it took his installers about three hours to do...

They're in Bergen County....

I want to personally thank members who bought and installed this override module from us. Furthermore, I really want to thank a few of you took your time and evaluate the system and post your honest feedback here for the rest of the CL members.

Although we tried to test all the scenarios, it appears we missed some of them. I was thankful to the members who contacted us for issues they have encountered and gave us time to validate or provide more operational instructions. Thanks again!

My override unit was installed today.

Works flawlessly as others have posted. Push the "Navi" button and it's as if you are not moving.

I had the trigger placed below and to the left of the volume **** as in the attached photo. There is minimal visibility of the cable and I can reach it easily without having to look down. Also, with a quick glance down I can see whether the trigger lights are on indicating that the override is active. While not completely hidden, I don't think it is too obvious. With a black interior it would be less noticeable.

I also have the Vaistech iPod unit and there are no problems using both.

Mark at Prestigious Society was great to deal with. Responded to all emails and phone calls and the product was shipped promptly. The installation instructions they provided are detailed and easy to follow including color photos.

Thanks to all on this forum who shared their experiences and especially Romini who was able to locate and validate the product.

Hey, that's exactly where I put my controller! I have the black interior so it totally blends in. I think this is the perfect place - easy to reach and nicely visible.

Looks like it's working as advertised? Hope this is indeed the solution everyone's been looking for.

I have received my Nav/DVD override but need someone to help me install it. I do not have any experience in that regard. Would anyone be kind enough to recommend someone in Maryland, DC or Virginia?

Any software updates will not affect the Nav Overide functions...
