THERE'S the likely answer. People who have tried this on other forums have finally realized they were still in range of the fob transmitter.

Don't try it in front of your house, etc.

Tried it on 2 of my sc430, Ls460, mercedes s500 it doesn't work... Just tried it to shut this thread down and disprove you... Its common sense that frequency does not travel threw cellular phones or amplifies... The fcc already regulate cellular phones so this kind of stuff wont happen...

Doc, your directions suck , but I entered "cell phone unlock" in the search box and finally got it. It just confirms what we've known for some time ... it doesn't work!

I got it to work too....I called my wife and she was answered her cell phone and I unlocked it

oops....forgot to mention I was standing 2 ft from the vehicle when I called
