The BMW rep looked at our X5 for 30 seconds for inspection. They should have looked harder. And this was 1 month before we gave it in. Never understood that one.

I think I gotta try the leaf blower method eventually.

I just used an air compressor yesterday and I couldn't believe how great it was. It took out the water in between creaks so effortlessly.

I only use the air compressor on the inside, though not often. Seems such a small stream of air, and at such high velocities out of an air compressor.

How long does it take to do the whole car, or do you just go for the cracks? Also, does it spew oil on the car in droplets. I know the tank, when I drain it on my compressor, has awful looking stuff in it.

I don't worry about sending 185mph wind through the grills because the car was designed for 208mph wind through the grills.
What type and model of blower are you guys using. I tried this once before but it just didn't seem to produce enough wind to dry it without standing there for a while and trying to angle the thing in 20 different directions.

I have a Toro Super Blower. Supposedly produces 235mph air speed. I also returned a few before I kept this one. Even though it's less convenient, I've been told by multiple people that it has to be an electric one, not a gas one.

There's an interesting device I haven't used yet that some people swear by. It's called Air Wand. http://www.airwand.com/
Looks interesting, but I don't think it will fit my blower due to hose shape discrepancies.

Just get a good, big microfiber waffle weave towel to dry the rest.

Mine is a "TASK FORCE" model 241481. An offbrand I guess. Got it at LOWES. It blows at 200 MPH and seemed to be the most comfortable to use so that's why I got it.
