8,000km and still smiling!
My car just had its second servicing and I am still a very pleased owner...
The Good...
- Fabulous stereo
- Stupendous gas mileage on the highway
- The "Hold" button has really grown on me, especially in rush hour
- A no-brainer to drive, you practically will it instead of operating it
- Smartcard
- Etc; all the other little gadgets and technology
The Bad...
- The automatic trunk is a little slow and dramatic to open
- I wish my package (Touring) had parking sensors
- Lockout of the NAV, etc while in motion
- A slight noise in the dash over bumps, now fixed
The Ugly (all to be fixed eventually)...
- Thanks to a valet parker, very slight damage to my rear bumper
- Thanks to my wife unloading her SUV, a big ding in the driver's door
- Thanks to me/black ice/a curb, a nicely gouged right rear wheel (don't ask)
Cheers!

Thanks for sharing, hope you keep enjoying your LS!!!
Sometimes the most convenient things with cars are those which, when implemented, you don't have to think about. It is indeed, effortless...a nice feature in luxury and other cars.
BTW if you're interested there is an aftermarket nav override thread on this board.

nice! I've only seen one LWB Exec edition and it was a black on black. All the other LS460s that I've seen are SWB versions.
Out of curiousity, does the dynamic radar CC on the LS work in bumper-to-bumper traffic? (like the one on the Mark X or Crown?)

The hold button is on the steering wheel, it is a button that you push when you are stopped at a red light or in traffic and your foot is on the brake. Should you like to rest your feet, push the hold button and the car will stay braked for you. Demonstration:

Don't you know valet parking is only for Hyundai's?!
