lol, thanks guys. indeed, i don't feel like taking pictures of the ls or the gs when the cars are not done (meaning stock). soon enough the cars will be done and you will see thanks for keeping it a secret derrick!

yes, i drive the ls460l and my wife drives the gs350. she did drive the ls460l for a week. she says the car is freaking big (hard to drive), which i agree!

Well I hope you can get used to the bigness of the car...compared to the old Mercedes S-Classes before power steering, boy those were even harder to drive! A relative of mine had one.

lol, i can imagine! it's definitely much harder to drive, even when compared to our sc430 with bad blind spot. this car is long (lwb)

Congrats, Henry.

Couldn't agree more about the blind spot (much worse than on my LS430UL), and washing a black car (torture. It's an endless, Sisyphusian Greek tragedy. But it does look AWESOME when in those brief moments it's spotless.)

I actually drove them back to back last week to see if I was imagining it. We have lots of roads down here with center medians you have to pause at before crossing traffic. With the LS430, your view was view the back right window. With the LS600hl/LS460L, the view is of the C pillar, as in no view at all. Not sure how they screwed that one up, but it clearly is worse than the old version.

agree. with the c pillar a lot "thicker" than before, it definitely blocks a lot of views!

btw, doc, you never posted much, how did your car go especially conflict with dealership?

I think rear window visibility is an issue for several of the L-finesse models, because of the fastback cabin design...a blind spot warning system should be added to the LS imho.

i am not sure of the exact reason, but our gs350 doesn't seem to have that problem. at least from our driving, noticing the blind spot has been pretty easy
