i believe 2007 says 18/27

either way, it's the same engine, nothing has changed. it's probably a changed in sae ratings, etc... 07 to 08 gs got changed as well (350) but the gas mileage stays the same

new standards developed to take into acount now-a-days type of driving....old estimate was based on circa 1970's computational method.....see link:

To answer your question, I average about 18-19 miles per gallon mixed driving and leaning more to stop and go rather than highway miles. Mine is a 2007 however.

Mine 600h combined consumptions mostly are around 10,5 l/100km. It is so incredible, how a 4wd car with 5.0l engine and 2,5ton weight uses so little fuel! It is just magic

In my 07 ls460 swb, I've been getting about 16.5 mpg in stop and go traffic around town. Haven't taken a long road trip yet, so can't give an accurate highway mpg. I suspect it will be around 25 mpg. Not bad at all IMO.

I get 22 MPG combined and this has been consistent over 12,000 miles. I am so impressed with this average!

My Range Rover pulls off 15 MPG

The EPA revised its fuel economy ratings a year ago. Here's an NYT article...
