you need to spend more time on your car derrick, that's always been your passion! don't let it get away

phu, i can see where you come from. too bad there weren't a lot of 22s to choose from yet. we will see in the future

But - just curious - since I can’t see it too clearly in the pic,
exactly “what is it” that is hanging down? It it functional for
something?

I’ll bet you get a lot of compliments on your car.

oh, it's definitely not doing anything at all it's basically just an extra chrome cosmetic piece, more like a garnish in some sense. it's called a chrome "fin" from the item descriptions

i haven't really driven the car out a lot, but several times when i walk up to my car some people did ask me about it and compliment the wheels / brakes.

Bro, between the business and 2 kids in 2 years, its starts to slip away from you. I'm thankful that my profession keeps me close to cars since I love them so much. I get so see how happy people are when they post their pics of their new mods (some that just get wheels, and then others that do the "full monty" like you).

I'm going to go at it hard after the winter passes!

Back on topic: your car really is sweet, even guys that call me about wheels from this forum say they are waiting to see what you do! lol

Rominl -

I ask: Since I can’t see it too clearly in the pic, exactly
what is that hanging down under the rear door?

You said: it's called a chrome "fin."

=========

Just curious: could you please take a close up pic of it?
I don’t mean to be insulting but from a distance, I don’t
think it looks too great. Maybe up close, it looks better.
(I normally would like a smooth line underneath.)

dang henry...ive having this itch for a new car but i kept telling myself one more year. when i hit the big 30. i'll go for a nice new ride. but when i see ur car, my itch intensifies! i really really really love what u did to ur LS. Ive been debating over the S550 and the LS but w/ all ur pics, its the LS hands down. again, its a really beautiful classy car. i love it.

thanks andrew for the close up picture. yes, jim, that's the chrome fin i talked about. it's part of the wald body kit design so not much i could do unless i cut and mold it off

haha, lisa, good that i am "helping" you here. don't wait for 30, just do it now
