Great Looking Car
Hey the car looks amazing. Quick question. How big is the diff in the ride once you put on the 22s? It had to get stiffer and rougher, no? I just got the swb LS 460 and looking to get rims. Deciding between the 20s and 22s. BTW how much did you pay for the rims, rear-spoiler and the roof spoiler?

thanks for your kind words. actually i got couple of requests especially about the ride so i think i will post a bit more here.
the ride DEFINITELY got harsher than before, especially when i lowered the car as well. i hear a bit more road noise from the wheels, and the ride is a bit stiffer than before. however, i think the air suspension is doing a fantastic job on the rebounce and dampening, so the car still rides pretty darn smooth compared to most rides out there.
so coming from stock ls460l with air suspension and 18s? yes, the ride got stiffer. however, it's still so good that it's still far better than my gs350 with 18s stock wheels.
also keep in mind the swb doesn't have air suspension, i would predict that with 22s the ride will be a bit worse than those with air suspension.
i can't disclose the exact prices since my car is sponsored. byt for the wheels and tires, expect about 6000-7000 out there. rear spoiler and roof spoiler, i say around 600-700 each

Can't believe I missed this thread.
Henry, it's beautiful. And whoa, 22's. Good thing the roads are smooth in OC, eh? A fitting ride for the #1 poster on CL. Congrats!

actually, i cant complain. the drop is actually perfect for me since its my daily driver and all. i guess you can never go to low. plus, the car is on a lease, so it just seems more cost effective for me, rather than spending the 4k to go on air.

misterk, i know what you mean, forking 4k isn't easy on a leased car, especially after lease ends you have to deal with taking things out and sell them. i cant' wait to see the results of those springs on your car

Henry,
Don't get on CL too much these days but I knew something was up when I saw your signature go blank.. Truly a work of ART on this new gen LS.
The more I look at the wheels the more I like them.. At first I thought too sporty for this car but the BBK helps with the look.. Wald kit was a natural and no brainer but honestly the lip spoiler brings the look together..
Great job my friend!!
